though i was emo-ish this previous days,
though i had thought that this was going to be the worst birthday ever,
though i thought the magic has gone out of my life,
you guys brought magic back into my life ,
you guys made my world magical,
you guys let me realise how much you all matter to me,
you guys let experience what life is;
life is reaching school everyday,
looking at all the smiling faces,
hearing all the laughter,
feeling that at least i have a part in all this,
that i truly belong with all of you,
life is sitting down all together in a row,
talking our heart out,
remember the time cos all of us were sitting down the wood cracked?
life is trying to get early dismissal,
debating with the teacher why we can go off early,
life is complaining to one another,
why is there so much never-ending homework?
life is suddenly realising that you never did a piece of homework,
start panicking,
see a completed piece of that homework,
grabbing it and copying it.
life is entering the exam room,
all worried and anxious,
all wishing one another all the best,
anxious smiles to everyone,
not knowing whether the smiles comfort the other party,
or yourself,
life is when exams are finally over,
beaming all over,
going crazy with the dizzy happiness of knowing that it will be long before the next exam,
hanging in the bus,
trying to creep people out,
in the end laughing like mad,
as we feel that we are rather stupid,
but who cares :D?
as for greenwood peeps,
thanks for all the magic you have already brought into my world,
thanks for all the memories you have created with mi;
remember the time when we were still in greenwood?
remember the long climb up to the highest level with our heaviest bags?
it was so tiring that i and yu wen agreed that we had climbed to the top of mount everest:D
remember the familiar classrooms we used to study in?
the grey tables and chairs,
the lockers that were always so dirty and made you sneeze if you opened one?
remember the canteen?
the 50-cent maggie laska?
the wednesday nuggets and curry puffs we waited for every week?
remember how noisy it was whenever we had to assemble in the canteen?
grace, remember the times we ran on the benches?
jumped from one tile to the other?
remember the long BORRINNG talks mdm foo had with us?
we would always groan when we knew it was time for her FAMOUS speeches?
remember 0uZi with her purple socks and sandals?
remember her round specs and short short hair cut?
remember the swimming lessons we had?
it was so fun though i was seperated with you all.
remember the chaos our class would fall into whenever there was no teacher?
remember all the screaming, shouting and running about?
we were so loud until a teacher had to come and scold us:D
remember the interclass soccer competition?
remember how our 'lao shi's were so enthu about teaching us?
when we won the other class, they were beaming even more than us?
how they rushed to tell mdm ling the good news?
remember how we slacked during inno?
remeber how samuel stood on top of the cubes and crossed his arms,
and pretended that he was Sir Stamford Raffles?
remember how mr chua would half-heartedly scold us?
remember all the pranks we played on the teachers?
remember mdm ling's birthday party?
eveyone donated money,
there was cake, pizza and drinks?
remeber the lame excuse of having to show her a science experiment?
remember?
i really miss all the good old days :DD
